We will start the day with a visit to the Regional Museum of History in Burgas, which is the largest museum in Southeastern Bulgaria. Here we will see many artifacts, expositions, and learn more about the lifestyle of the local population.
We will continue to Mandren Lake, where we will visit the Poda Nature Rescue Center. Armed with binoculars we’ll observe the birds prone, while experienced ornithologists tell us more about them. The walk in the protected area and taking photos are a must! 🙂
10 minutes from Poda is the unique fishing village of Chengene Skele, which translates to Gypsy Gulf. Here we will feel the spirit of the sea, entwined in ancient fishing nets and a unique setting.
In the afternoon we will head to Akve Khalid and the Atanasovsko Lake, where depending on your choice you will have the opportunity to dive into the pools of healing mud and lye. The extraction of mud and lye is done in a natural way and does not harm the lake’s inhabitants. Black mud is a proven remedy for the relief and treatment of various diseases.
